Fans of Yura Urushibara’s captivating manga series, Tougen Anki, have reason to celebrate as it has been officially announced that the series will be adapted into a television anime in 2025. This exciting news comes after the manga has garnered significant attention and acclaim since its debut in 2020.
The Manga’s Success
Tougen Anki, also known as Tougen Anki: Dark Demon of Paradise, has been serialized in AKITASHOTEN’s Weekly Shōnen Champion and has seen remarkable success. With over 3 million units in print and the milestone 20th volume set to release, the manga has established itself as a favorite among fans of dark fantasy and action-packed stories.
The Anime Adaptation
The television anime adaptation of Tougen Anki is part of the “Tougen Anki Project,” which was launched in June 2023. The project has already seen success with a stage play starring Alan Abe and other prominent actors, with a sequel stage play scheduled for January 2025.
